Ioana Barbu

Ioana Barbu is an ultra runner and actor. Her mission for 2025 is to complete all six of the world’s toughest self-sufficient multi-stage ultra-marathons in one year, running 1,295km across the Arctic, jungle, mountains, and desert with Beyond the Ultimate. She is racing to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise and has teamed up with London South Bank University’s Human Performance Centre to contribute to research into human adaptations to extreme environments.
